Healthy twist on holiday catering from The Sprout Café

The holidays are upon us and it’s time to start planning your holiday meal menu! Look no further than The Sprout Café! We can handle the catering for your family dinner or company party and provide delicious, healthy meals so you don’t have to cook!

Gravy so delicious you might want to drink it from the jar

Featured Thanksgiving menu items include savory pumpkin or lentil soup, local collards from Joseph Fields Farm, fresh cranberry sauce and gravy so good you’ll want to drink it from the jar. (Some clients say they really do this!)

The gravy is $15 per quart, which serves 8 unless you drink it. Other items, such as pumpkin or lentil soup are $15 per quart, each serve 4; or fresh cranberry sauce, also $15 per quart, serves 8.

Orders for these items (and much more!) can be placed any time during the holiday season for any occasion.

“Our healthy sides are a great option if you don’t have the time to cook, or if you are going to a dinner or party where there may not be a lot of healthy options to choose from,” says Caroline Brennan, owner at The Sprout Café.

The Sprout Cafe's Abundance Private Chef menu

The Sprout Café is not only a great healthy restaurant offering clean, pure and organic food, it also offers catering and personal chef services.

For example, The Sprout Café recently catered a private party for 18. A four-course meal was served, including: organic asparagus soup with fresh cream and crumbled portobello bacon; a sprouted barley salad with braised Brussels sprouts and heirloom cherry tomatoes; a Vietnamese crepe with sprouts, jalapeno seared tofu and a sweet and spicy dipping sauce; and a vegan filet with roasted potatoes, fresh organic bell peppers, haricot verts, with an au jus and a balsamic reduction sauce.
