Mickey

Chef Mickey has been in the restaurant business all of his life starting with his family’s business which opened the year he was born. After years of growing up in a restaurant, Mickey pursued a Hotel/ Restaurant Management degree at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Following college, Mickey returned to his family’s restaurant. After 10 years of running and co-owning the restaurant, Mickey pursued a culinary degree from California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. These studies were concluded by an externship with the famous natural restaurant called Café Gratitude. Mickey regularly practices yoga and works out. Now that he is back on the east coast, he is ready to share his expertise and talent.

Caroline

Caroline is passionate about health, fitness and education. She began her career life as a preschool teacher and has over 8 years of teaching experience. After teaching preschool for 6 years, Caroline trained to be a yoga teacher and owned her own business called Time to be….Yoga, LLC. When she and Mickey moved to San Fransisco, she managed and operated a yoga-inspired, athletic-wear retail store called lululemon athletica.
Caroline is captivated by the healthy cooking her husband specializes in and is looking forward to sharing these delights with you.

Heather

Heather desires to share her passion and pursuit of healthy living with others through her work at The Sprout. Heather graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a B.S. in Counseling/ Psychology, along with a minor in Outdoor Leadership and Education. She loves the outdoors and feels a huge responsibility to take better care of God’s creation. She spent two years in public relations for the college’s Outdoor Club and was also a member of the Environmental Committee. Her passion for the outdoors flows into her pursuit to live healthier by eating a vegetarian diet and staying active. While attending college she worked at a coffee shop and was a camp counselor at an outdoor camp for at risk foster children. She has also worked in various food establishments. Heather is excited about working with Mickey and Caroline on their mutual desire to raise the level of health and sustainable living in our community and throughout the world.

David

Chef David Glaccum has been in the hospitality/restaurant industry for the past 7 years. He was raised just south of Charleston in Beaufort, SC. He obtained his degree in culinary arts from the Art Institute of Atlanta and then moved back down to the coast. He is currently working on his Bachelors in Culinary Management from the Art Institute of Pittsburg and is looking forward to cooking for and educating people on healthy, organic and exciting food.
